On april 2nd 1982 break out Falklands War between Argentina and United Kingdom who dispute sovereighty about these South Atlantic islands. It's that the same year as Mark Knopfler who is Dire Strait leader compose the song "Brothers in Arms". This song relate a soldier who dies and make his goodbyes denouncing the madness of war. This war killed nearly a thousand soldiers in just 74 days. This song will be released on may 1985 on the album of the same name. The album "Brothers in Arms" will be the greatest success from the band Dire Straits with more than 30 million albums sold all around the world.
